Our Mission
Our first experiments on Two-Photon Polymerization (2PP) with mode-locked diode lasers date back to 2018, where we could show at first that an efficient process can be realized. However, multiple passes and slow scanning speeds were necessary [https://doi.org/10.1049/el.2019.2385; https://doi.org/10.1364/OL.401738] Since then, we have extensively researched, developed, and improved diode laser-based 2PP. From 2021 to 2024, we worked on a VIP+ project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to validate the process. Encouraged by our results, we applied for EXIST research transfer funding, a successful start-up program offered by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. We began on April 1st, 2025, and plan to develop this technology into a market-ready system within the next 24 project months.
